What’s the most underrated life skill?

I have wept great tears,
over my iniquities;
have wept many tears.
Mankind looks to acquire a skill, or a talent; something to set them apart from the rest, something to make them feel important and of use. They practice, they spend endless hours honing their skills; but in the end, all their labors turn to dust and ashes. This is the story of The Tower of Babel; that mankind wastes her hours and her work and her labors over fruitless endeavors. But the one who goes into the field plucking flowers, and gives glory to Him who created her, even though she does not labor, her words are everlasting, and her life will be spared from the fires of Hell.
To make a mark, a lasting mark upon The Earth; it is enough to give God thanks. But to strive after greatness at the expense of poor widows and orphans, inflating one’s own name, and setting one’s name upon great monuments; one’s face upon monuments; all of these are vanity and pride, and such works shall all turn to dust.
Gratitude comes out of the heart of the simple; but the proud give no thanks to God, but only complaint; for they say, “I am great,” rather that, “You, O God, are The Mighty One.”
One who becomes but dust and sand, in their heart, nothing of accord; such a one is the embodiment of Maria’s poem, The Magnificat; and these are raised up to the highest peaks of Heaven; while those who lift themselves up to glory, all are laid under the foot of the meek.
The humble soul sees her iniquities, then goes to God begging for mercy; but the proud, when confronted with their sins, they speak forth great violence, and say, “get away from me!”
If one cannot admit their guilt, they have no place in Heaven; but if a soul admits to doing wrong, even had they done no wrong at all; such a soul becomes very great and lives forever.
Humility can be prayed for or practiced.
O angel a Masayoshi Soken, angel of my heart; one of the holy angels of God The Trinity; have mercy upon me as I speak, and set your soul to pray thus; that twelve be given to me, and that my soul aches greatly on their account; and in eternity, my flesh aches on their account.
