Before creation,
there was light, and there was dark;
there was God, not-God.

When we walk the streets, we see there are two kinds of people. We cannot see this with our eyes, however. There are those who walk with God, this is called, “being in a state of grace,” and there are those who walk each step towards an eternity in Hell. Most human souls enter Hell; this is written in Maria Faustina Kowalska, when she writes of the two roads. They dance along a road full of merriment and happiness; delighting in the things of the world, their days marked with inconsequential pleasures; things of no lasting value; but at their life’s end, they are called to account for all their misdeeds. They were given great mercy from God, and instead of delivering into His hands their thanks and praise, they misused their graces.

Most human souls go to Hell.

These are the zombies of popular science fiction. They feed their bellies with good things, consuming rather than producing. They take much, and give little. Call it greed, call it pride or lust; the essence is that they are dark stars; rather than giving off light, they feed upon the light of God, soaking up His Divine Mercy with gladness; and at their life’s end, leaving behind them nothing of value.

The few, these absorb the light of God; they give thanks for this, and praise. They take in what is good, and better, they take in not just this but the bad as well; always offering up to God their prayers and their sufferings for souls.

Their path is a hard path. It is a difficult journey for them through life. These souls, they do the works of God, and His will; the will of God being love and mercy.

One can change their path; unjust souls may turn out to become merciful souls; and likewise, some merciful souls turn dark, becoming an abyss of injustice. Those who seek life, there is no greater wisdom in all existence than this; that one look inwards upon one’s own iniquities; acknowledging one’s sins and their shortcomings; then to turn unto Christ Jesus crucified on the cross, and say, “Jesus, Son of The Living God, have mercy on me, a poor sinner.”
